What are some words of wisdom you would give to a new or incoming student in your program?
What sets the PhD clinical programs apart from similar programs is the unique opportunity to be involved in research and make our own contribution to the broader research literature. My best advice would be to focus on your dissertation and research training as much as clinical opportunities that come your way.

What next?
I am currently in supervised practice (clinical and school psychology). I am working in private practice as well as consulting for the school board.

Why OISE?
I loved the applied focus of the program for with regard to research and clinical practice. Some of the best highlights of my time at OISE was travelling with my lab to attend conferences (Puerto Rico, Ottawa), and successfully obtaining the SSHRC research grant for the entirety of my studies at OISE with the help of my amazing supervisor (Michele Peterson-Badali). I was also author or co-author of three published research papers during my time at OISE.
