Biography

Marie Green teaches “Anti-Discriminatory Education” (CTL7009) and Religious Education (CTL7041) at the �鶹��ý���� (OISE). Prior to joining OISE, she taught "Black Lives Matter in the Classroom” (SMP3416) and “Faith Development Across the Lifespan” (SMP3421) at the University of St. Michael's College Faculty of Theology. Green completed her undergraduate in history at Carleton University. She holds a Master of Theology from Wycliffe College, University of Toronto, and a Master of Science in Adolescence Education from D’Youville College. She completed her PhD at the University of St. Michael’s College, University of Toronto. Green conducts research at the intersection of Christianity, education, race, and Indigeneity. In addition to being certified to teach law and history with the Ontario College of Teachers and the New York State Board of Education, she has served at the United Nations as a consultant and taken on management roles in public health and community development.
