Seminar Room
Graduate students are welcome to book Seminar Room 12-252 for department-related activities. To book the room, please e-mail Irene Wandili and allow five working days for processing. Prior to booking, .
This space is allocated on a first-come, first served basis, but priority is given to faculty and administrative events. If you are booking room for an SJE student-sponsored event, please make your room booking via the .
To ensure all SJE members have equal access to Room 12-252, we cannot reserve the SJE Seminar Room for continuous meetings for a term or year at a time. Scheduling up to 3 weeks ahead is an acceptable timeframe for continuous meetings.
The SJE Lounge (8-10 people) and the North West End (6-8 people) are public, open spaces in the department that are available for smaller informal events. It is not required to make a booking for these spaces.
Student Offices
The department strives to provide desk space for registered students in shared offices, subject to criteria and availability. As space is limited, priority is given to full-time graduate students in research-based programs. To inquire about space, please contact Irene Wandili at

Audio/Visual Equipment
All audio-visual equipment (projectors, tape recorders, etc.) can be borrowed from Education Commons using the . A valid OISE library card is required.

Lockers
There are lockers that students can rent on the Concourse Level. The lockers are available on a first come, first serve basis. The cost is $22 and the rental period expires August 15.

Parking for Bicycles and Cars
OISE's paid parking area is located on Prince Arthur Avenue.
Bicycle racks are located in the parking garage on the concourse level, just adjacent to the attendant's booth. Bicycles are not permitted in the building.
For your safety, security staff can escort you to your vehicle. This service is provided from 7:00 am to 12:00 am, Monday to Friday.
