  • Familiarize with the Library Research Skills Quercus course offered by UofT Libraries.

 

The Library Research Skills Quercus-based course is divided into six modules.

The modules cover: an introduction to the University of Toronto Libraries; how to begin your research; how to find a research topic; how to search for and evaluate sources; how to cite sources properly; how to use library tools such as databases and catalogs effectively; how to get help from library staff; and how to access specialized research materials such as archives and rare books. Each module contains a mix of instructional texts, videos and short quizzes.
