Favorite course(s): I personally really like the foundational animation courses (AVFX 100 and 101), along with beginning drawing (FOUN 101) and figure drawing (FOUN 105), because implementing the curriculum had aided in me being able to solidify my projects and has strengthened my skills as an artist.
Favorite spot on campus and why: I love the library because it is the most aesthetically pleasing location on campus. I frequently go there to focus on my work and wind down as well. I also appreciate the history behind this library and how it was originally a church. The interior and exterior elements of the church are still present and make the library unique.
Hobbies and Interests: Drawing, of course, is my main and favorite hobby; however, I also love content creation, making new templates for my small business, listening to music, and cooking.
I chose to attend Woodbury because: I am very local and the high school I attended is also in Burbank; therefore, I got a better look at the wonderful resources available for Woodbury’s animation program and saw that opportunities are more accessible due to the location. Many popular animation studios are located nearby! Additionally, I prefer a smaller campus with little class sizes since that helps me enhance my connections with professors and students.

Clubs/groups you are involved in on-campus:聽Psychology club
Favorite courses:聽I聽really enjoyed my Journeys (INDS 101) class with Professor Mike Sonksen because I got to dedicate time to learning more about my own life journey through journaling and reflection and I was able to take inspiration from my classmates and other artists we learned about.
Favorite spot on campus and why:聽My favorite spot is Woody’s, our dining hall, because I feel like it is the heart of campus. I love getting some good food and looking at the art wall inside or looking out at the greenery of the quad when I sit on the patio.
Hobbies/interests:聽I like rock climbing, writing, listening to music, learning new things, and spending time with my favorite people.
I chose to attend Woodbury because聽the small community allows me to bond with my peers and get one-on-one access to professors and faculty. I also love that Woodbury prioritizes giving students real-world experience through projects and internships before we even graduate. We all work together to help each other succeed.

Clubs/groups I’m a part of: I’m not currently part of any clubs or groups on campus, but I hope to be!
Favorite Courses: My favorite course currently is PSYC 200 with Dr. Joye Swan. She keeps the class engaged, and I love learning about psychology. It is a great class, even if you are not a Psychology major because it gives you a broad overview of psychology and how humans interact with each other and the world around us. Taking this class, I will be able to specify how the principles of psychology can be used for everyday problems while bringing awareness to many different subjects psychology is involved in.
Favorite spot on campus and why:聽My favorite spot is the Library. It’s my favorite spot because it’s a great place to study and because of the great history behind it. The Library used to be a chapel when this campus first was a school of girls founded by Mother Frances Xavier Cabrini and was called Villa Cabrini Academy. It’s a great reminder of the beginnings of this university and the importance of education to me. Along with the stained-glass windows and beautiful chandeliers, the library creates a feeling that we are all here to learn and develop into great scholars.
Hobbies/ interests:聽I enjoy going to concerts and listening to music. I also like to go out social dancing with friends and go on road trips!
I chose to attend Woodbury聽because I wanted a smaller learning environment with my professors and peers. Here, I can fully expand my potential and learn to the best of my ability. Amazingly, professors and advisers can get one-on-one time with you to get real-world experience through internships and other opportunities tailored to me and my education.

Favorite Courses: I am personally fond of the Figure Drawing, Intro to Digital Media, and the Industry Insiders classes we have available here at Woodbury. They do an amazing job of teaching techniques and preparing students for the animation industry.
Favorite spot on campus and why: My favorite spot on campus would have to be Woodies Cafeteria. It鈥檚 where at any point in my day, if I鈥檓 feeling down, I can visit, get some food, and spend time with my friends or piers from my classes. It is genuinely such an amazing community space that is always hosting events for students.
Hobbies and Interests: I really enjoy drawing in my free time as well as playing video games such as Hollow Knight, Pok茅mon, and legend of Zelda.聽 I also enjoy hiking with friends and spending time outdoors.
I choose to attend 麻豆传媒集团 because: I was really impressed with the animation industry that is local to Burbank and wanted to stay within an hour drive of my hometown. On top of that I was interested in attending a smaller school like Woodbury to get to know my classmates more closely. However, what really sold me on the school was definitely the campus. When I toured the campus for the first time, I was swept away by the New York Times Library and the old brick buildings that surrounded the quad. I really loved how it was right up against the mountains and in a very safe suburban area.
