The Department of Social Justice Education may hire Sessional Lecturers to deliver graduate courses. When available, these opportunities are posted on the CUPE 3902 notice board located outside the entrance of the Department of Social Justice Education.

To be considered for a position, candidates must submit a cover letter indicating the advertised course code and an up-to-date curriculum vitae. A separate application is required for each course. Preference in hiring is given to qualified applicants who hold the rank of Senior Lecturer II and Senior Lecturer III.

Generally speaking, decisions are made in February/March for summer courses and June/July for fall and winter courses. Some postings may be made earlier or later depending upon circumstances; unexpected vacancies may arise from time to time.
